‘Touching the universe together’, works on paper with ink and acrylic, 70cmx50cm.
This work was made during a stay at my beach camp on the Mornington Peninsula. Each day walking towards the beach I am surrounded by an archway of teatrees and gums. They twist and dance together above me as I walk underneath towards the shore. In this work, it is sunset and the changing colours of the setting sun are bright pinks and reds displayed everywhere in the bush and on the water.
This work is on 200gsm watercolour paper.
I can add a wooden panel mounting and finish the work with a semi-gloss varnish. I like to finish the works on paper this way. Alternatively, the work is transported rolled and protected ready for framing.
